Tips: Get a Japan Rail

You can find info at JR
site.
If you want to see Cherry
Blossoms, go to Japan in late March. |

We
went to Japan and England by Japan Airlines. We flew from
Sydney to Narita, and flew again from Narita to Fukuoka on
the same day. With Japan Airlines, you can purchase Domestic
Flight.
It was too early for Cherry Blossoms when
we were in Japan early March. We had 5 hours transit in Narita
on the way back to Sydney. We went to see Cherry Blossoms
to Narita Temple. If you have a couple of hours for transit
in Narita, this is a recommended place to visit in Narita
area.
Train System in Japan is very convenient and
very punctual. We Purchased 7 Days Japan Rail Pass which cost
\28300. We traveled from Fukuoka to Tokyo by Shinkansen, Bullet
Train. We used it for the day trip to Nagasaki as well. The
fastest Shinkansen is Nozomi which runs 280 km/hour. Unfortunately,
JR pass is not accepted by Nozomi. Hikari is the second fastest
one, and it runs 250 km/hour. It accept JR pass. |
