Hiroko,
my sister and Mikizo, her husband took us to Akiyoshidai.
My cute nephew, Ko chan of course came. (Family
Shot)
Akiyoshidai is located in
Yamaguchi prefecture in Honshu, Main Island. Across from Kushu
Island to Honshu (main island), there are two ways of crossing.
One is by Tunnel and another one is bridge, called Kanmon-kyo.
We visited Akiyoshido
which is the biggest limestone
cave in Japan. It is listed in Special Natural Monument in
Japan. These limestone used to be coral approx. 300 millions
years ago. It is like Jenolan Cave in Blue Mountains. It is
under 100 meters from eh ground level, and the length is 10
km. The temperature is always same at 17 degrees centigrade
all year.
Mikizo san told us that this
place was the first dating place with Hiroko. Akiyoshido's
admission cost \1240
per person.
